GK Yard is a one-person project. I write, design, build, and maintain everything here myself - there's no editorial team, no newsroom, just a genuine interest in technology and a habit of digging into stories properly before writing about them.
I'm Sumit Saurabh, a full stack developer with 5 years of experience. GK Yard started as a way to combine two things I care about - technology and writing - into something more substantial than a personal blog. I built the entire site myself, from the ground up, and I write every article that goes on it.
Being one person means I can't cover everything, and I won't pretend otherwise. What I can do is take the time to actually research a topic properly - checking claims against primary sources, presenting both sides of a genuinely contested issue, and being upfront when something is uncertain rather than confidently guessing. That's the standard I hold this site to, even though it's just me holding myself to it.
GK Yard covers artificial intelligence, gadgets, gaming, cybersecurity, cryptocurrency, space and science, electric vehicles, and the broader ways technology is reshaping how people live and work - the good parts and the genuinely concerning parts alike.
I check claims against real sources before publishing rather than repeating whatever's already circulating. If I get something wrong, I'd rather fix it than leave it.
I'm not trying to be first with the news. I'd rather publish one properly researched piece than ten shallow ones - especially as a solo operation, that trade-off matters even more.
Everything here is independent. Nothing is written or influenced by a payment, and nothing will be.
The entire site - design, code, and every article - is something I built and wrote myself, not assembled from a CMS template or outsourced.
